Welcome to Amorgos, to its deep blue and bright sun, its history and culture. Our hotel’s privileged location is on the square of Katapola, right in the middle of the town’s three traditional villages, which makes it the ideal starting point for the exploration of the island and its unlimited natural beauty.

Minoa Hotel, has recently been completely renovated and it offers its guests high quality services to help make their stay on Amorgos a truly unforgettable experience. Built in the typical Cycladic architecture, it offers double, triple and quadruple rooms, some with a view of the sea, no farther than 30 meters away. The name of our hotel derives from the ancient city of Minoa, which was located on Moudoulia hill over the port of Katapola. There, you can still see the remains of the Stadium, the Gymnasium, the Temple of Dionysus, among others, as well as a spectacular view over the gulf.

Minoa Hotel is open from April to October. You can visit in spring, when the meadows in the hinterland are bright green, to experience the devout celebrations of Easter, or in summer, when the sun and the sea enchant the senses. Amorgos’ sweet autumn, too, is ideal for relaxation and stimulation before winter.

Book your stay in Minoa Hotel, and swim in crystal clear waters, enjoy local dishes, dance in traditional festivals, walk the Cycladic narrow streets and go hiking on the famous trails of Amorgos. With knowledge and experience in the hospitality sector, but especially with love for our island, we look forward to welcoming you.

Stamatis Mavros.
